Fabric Bag Solution


​         Fabric Bag Solution (FBS) began in 2019 with a volunteer sewing group who were concerned with the single use plastics in our environment.  FBS transforms donated and gently used fabrics into a variety of beautiful reusable shopping, produce, tote and laundry bags.  Working collaboratively with students from the Coquitlam, Southeast Kootenay and Okanagan Skaha School Districts, the bags are distributed to BC residents with the goal of reducing single use plastic bags. This group has now created and distributed approximately 4000 cloth bags to schools, foodbanks, and resource centers for women, new immigrants and refugees.  FBS is now planning to create cloth Christmas bags to help reduce Christmas wrapping waste.  Stay tune for updates.  Email below for more information:  fabricbagsolution@gmail.com​
